GluScout 2.0

Version 2.0 ·

New

  • An Analytics window. Pick a Profile and a range from 7 days to 1 year. It has an Overview, AGP, Highs vs Lows and Patterns, plus Observations that describe your data with the evidence behind them. They are not advice.
  • Several people in one menu bar: one Profile per Nightscout, each with its own colour, targets, alerts and menu bar label.
  • Glucose alerts for each Profile: low, high, urgent low, urgent high and stale data. Each shows who, the value, the trend and the age.
  • A new look and a guided first run for adding your Nightscout.
  • An About window.

Alerts are a convenience, not a safety-critical system. Keep using the alarms of your approved CGM, receiver or pump.

Improved

  • Readings older than 15 minutes are dimmed and show their age.
  • The unit is printed next to every value.
  • A calm one-line message when Nightscout cannot be reached.
  • One name for the credential: “Access token”.
  • Higher-contrast text and fuller VoiceOver descriptions.
  • Missing Polish translations added.
  • GluScout refuses redirects that would send your credentials to another host.
  • Deleting a Profile also deletes its token, alert settings and cached readings.

Important

GluScout is for information only. It is not a medical device and gives no medical advice. Always verify readings with your approved devices. Not for emergencies. Discuss any changes with your care team.
